From 12 August 2015 to 21 July 2019, he was the Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh. In this mid-whole Himachal Pradesh, implementation of wide-scale government and public participation of zero-cost natural agriculture, cow protection and cow rearing, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, social harmony, drug de-addiction, plantation and many water conservation projects and campaigns. During this tenure, all these programs were widely publicized in the state as well as in other states of Himachal Pradesh.
